Default For Those Who Oppose Pro-Rich Tax Incentives

PAIN IN SLUMS OF CHAVEZ
[left]

Be carefull of what you wish for. While the tax breaks for the rich may seem unfair...it's a fact in the world that the poor are too ill-equiped to help themselves out of poverty...a task too large for even government to play...the answer is what it has always been: Jobs and investment in downtrodden areas to create jobs and cash flow for a community.

Only 10 percent of the work force has jobs, while 52 percent are "freelancers" - street vendors or people who sell goods from their homes, Espana said.
He complained Chavez's socialist, anti-big-business rhetoric and actions have scared off private investors, who currently support only 10 percent of the job market, compared to 25 percent in the 1970s.

It's not just the issue of how many people are working, it's the quality of the jobs and the low wages that come with it," he said.

Take unemployed Pedro José Flores, 24, whom I met while he was fighting off buzzard-like birds and dodging bulldozers at a garbage dump, searching for metal and paper to sell.
"I have a wife and three kids I have to feed," he said. "There are no jobs out here, and you have to produce to survive."

There is a feeling among parents that it's just not worth sending their children to school because a high-school graduate is ill prepared to enter the work force," said Pereira.
Quote:

While some, like Pereira, give Chavez credit for trying to help parents buy school supplies and combat the dropout rate, they fume that he's done little to create jobs that could absorb the 300,000 people who enter the job market every year.
"For a crisis of this magnitude, it is a shame that there hasn't been any attempt to change the system," said Pereira.
The poverty and lack of jobs have bred out-of-control crime. Of the estimated 12,000 homicides every year, 90 percent of the victims are men between the ages of 15 and 35.

Hugo Chavez is similar to Abbadabbamenijad, they're more beloved by liberals and angry Arabs than their own people.

Seriously. He's building AK-47 factories, sending free oil to the richest country in the world, and yet his people, over 40% of the population to e exact, live in poverty. Viva Chavez!

I think Foley is more important than a guy who is killing his own people RW.
I mean juidging by the # of Foley threads on this board today.

Gotta love that good old liberal compassionism ... it's been replaced with vendetta hard-ons.

Well, I don't have a pony in the pedophelia Foley race. I can't support one side over the other since each has a history of defending their own. I think it's comical for Dems to criticize the GOP when you look at their history. I think it's even more shameful for them to exploit "the children" to advance their political chances. On the other hand it's inexcusable that the GOP didn't expose this scumbag for who he was. It doesn't matter if the kids were 15 or 18. The mans actions were beyond creepy and not acceptable for a man in national office. They should have fired the scumbag by whatever means was possible. But this is American politics. It's why I can't support a party. They all suck as much as the other. Try getting one of the GOP cronies to say they fugged up, and try getting one of the Dems to say this isn't the GOP's fault it's Foley's. HA! They each will defend their party to the grave. Supporting a party means sacraficing your principle beliefs. No thanks.

I agree, anyone making more than $10 million should be exempt from income tax, capital gains tax, sales tax, and property taxes. The rich are the only ones who can help our economy and we need to keep them happy so they're in a hiring mood.
