I just wanted to make the "official" game thread before Patriots4ever does later tonight

Brady sucks and will be benched by after the 1st quarter, at that point Vinny Testaverde will come in and end up with huge numbers 40/52 430yds 6TDs 1 rushing TD

Tom Baby will be crying so much on the sidelines Bill Belichick will decide to try him out at WR in the 4th quarter and to everyones surprise he will look like the next Jerry Rice catching 10 balls for 225 yards and 2 TD's

It's Friday, why is there even an official game thread today? The official game thread, from what I understand and WANT, is to discuss the game AS IT IS HAPPENING.

If you believe in things like thread karma I'd say we got off to a shaky start with the innocent newbie hijacking what was pats1's responsibility - except that we got bounced out of the playoffs on pats1's watch last January which might have signaled it was time for a change of leadership. And we did win the first two games on his watch. ;)

Guys like Keegs come in and just trash the structure of the way things work around here. Soon you'll be seeing people trying to take Alamo's prediction threads if this keeps up.

There is something to be said for thread etiquette. There is something to be said for earning respect from established posters. This place, when used correctly, can be a place to LEARN from others.

The juvenile nonsense that has hijacked much of the forum lately is a bother. Hopefully the longer the good posters stay around, the more the immature crowd will shape up.

Otherwise I'm going to want to know where the rest of the real posters have gone instead of here. I don't want to be left here alone with these wolves!

Sounds like the team's woes. The BB-type players and Patsfans-type posters have common concerns. Proper chemistry and extra reps may be the solution...and a little weeding out won't hurt much either.

On a third and 7 play NE has excellent coverage, which is surprising since they only have 10 men on the field. Palmer sees an opening in the D and yells, "Chad! CJ!" while motioning down the field.

Johnson breaks up the field and Palmer lofts a picturesque pass. Just as the ball is coming down towards the awaiting arms of the wide open Johnson, Chad Jackson comes into the picture and picks off the pass. It appears as if he instictively thought that Palmer was yelling at him and had been breaking down the field himself, just on the other side of the sideline. Because NE was down a man on the play, Jackson is considered to be a late entering 11th man and the interception stands. Thankfully for NE, Jackson trips and falls out of bounds, as it appeared that he would have kept running towards Cincy's endzone.

Keegs,I actually thought it was pretty damn funny,I got a good laugh out of it. I know I started the game thread a bit early.Im over it. Someone else can deal with it.The Only reason I EVER did that(Creating Game Threads along with Pats1) was because I wanted to become an established member of the boards,Make some friends.That obviously backfired on me.However,Again, it was pretty funny. Im not offended at all.Also...I DO APPRECIATE the folks that are backing me up.Thanks so much!

Apologies if I myself come across that way. It's just that after years of the only 'drama' really being started by zipperheaded Trolls from other teams we now have several posters that have the maturity of a grapefruit around here. After months and months of reading posts that rarely, if ever, contain actual readable or chat worthy material and only exist to stir people up it just gets tiring.

Since the start it has seemed that Keegs is more about getting under people's skin than actually discussing anything related to the Patriots.
