Refs agreement
In a league-related note, NFL officials ratified a new contract on Friday that will keep them working games through 2012. The officials' contract was set to expire after this season. The vote was 111-4 in favor of the new contract.
Meanwhile, Gerry Austin is the ref for tonight's game.

Don't like that Maroney was in on 4th and 1.
I wasn't worried about the # of carries he was getting because the Pats were in hurry-up and thus not doing much substituting, but you'd think they'd get Mr. Downhill in for the tough yard.

Hey everyone .. a few first-quarter notes.
http://www.patsfans.com/price/blog/?q=node/467
Thanks,
ChrisThanks Chris, Hobbs looks pretty even with the 15 yarder.
I hope that running with the horrible backside blocking is setting up another play for later.
I'll bet NEM has sprayed ensure all over the Vine with his sputtering.

Al says we lost 6 startes and added no one else's?
I can't think of 6 -- the 2 WRs, a mediocre RT, where else?
We did "add" Koppen and Harrison.
Madden and Michaels are getting me depressed with all the attrition talk. Maybe Tom is also. Off tackle on 4th and 1. Not a good call. What happened to the auto-QB sneak.
First time we have been stopped on 4th down all year.....

After the 11 yard gain, I notivced Dillon immediately signal to come out.
Denver is getting great penetration and doing a fine job vs the run.
(This is the 9th commercial break already...)
F*ing commercial breaks. So little flow to this game, I'm almost bored. Seriously.
And it's just going to get worse with the commercialization of the NFL.

That seems very remote right now, but it's early. The other thing that's depressing is Michaels talking about how far under the cap N.E. is. Another T.O. Whee!
