Karr released; DNA Not A Match

DNA evidence failed to put John Mark Karr at the murder scene and the prosecutor dropped the charges. Karr's public defender, "We're deeply distressed by the fact that they took this man and dragged him from Bangkok, Thailand with no forensic evidence confirming the allegations against him"...blah, blah, blah.......

I have kind of thought the entire time that this was all a ploy for him to be flown back to the US on the taxpayers dime to avoid being in a Thailand jail.

Does this mean he is going to be sent back to Thailand to face the charges that are awaiting him there?

There seems to be something of substance concerning the family. They are not telling everything. How does the mother's fingerprints not get on the ransom note, when she is the one who found it? Nothing about this case makes any sense. Not sure we will ever know.

The Boulder cops really fell hard for this one. Is there any reason they couldn't have gotten a sample and leave the POS in a Thai cell while they tested it? Why the dramatic flight, press conferences and Larry King interviews? I think the cops in Boulder (the brass, I'm talkin about) were having a PR orgasm over all the attention. Whoever paid for this freak show must be pretty pi$$ed.
