As the anniversary of 9-11 approaches, been trying to take a look at WTC 7 again.. seems as though this aspect of that day has really been minimized. Larry Silverstein on a PBS interview indicated it was "pulled" others seem to say it was an offshoot of the devastation of the twin towers..

Watched the video, looks pretty controlled for me.. does not make sense, no publicity, no denial from Silverstein and no really big conspiracy issues associated with it. In the big scale it was small (as much as a 47 story building can be small), but seems as though a piece of the story that needs better clarification. The whole thing does not make a lot of sense to me.

There was an underground mall and PATH train station complex under the WTC complex. When thoses buildings cam down the probaably of structural damage to WTC 7 foundation was very high.

Those 'building shooters' as they call themselves spend weeks prepping a building for demo. Every little detail is carefully planned to the extent that they actually weaken structural members very carefully to make sure the building collapses just right. They also go over, and over, and over exactly how much Dynamite is used and exactly where its used. None of them have any practice at doing all that in a few hours and none of them have any practice at doing it secretly.

The big guy, who used to post here, can't think of his name (FBN, help me out here, he knew about alternate fuels). He posted a long thread on building number 7. At that time, it was totally dismissed as a luny conspiracy. I'll try and find it and post it.

Still post but it will never be like before during my Mr. Mom years. My son is going in 1st grade which frees up alot of time to run my business and the kids a sports junkie just like I was...currently it's soccer and I coach.

Ah yes...some engineer went over the issues piece by piece...I posted it in the thread about the guy trying to melt a wire cage with jet fuel...he took a pounding for that one LOL.

Seriously, I read in 1 place a very plausible scenario that makes sense, but who knows? We will never know because all the evidence was destroyed on that man made island they used to cut up all the metal.

Anyways...the theory goes that after the attack in the WTC parking garage some people got together to think of bad scenarios that could happen. As the story goes they decided to wire the entire WTC complex for destruction if a tragedy called for it.

The last second decision would be based around if the tall buildings started to wobble or any building was severly compromised. They felt controlling the destruction would be the best, worse case scenario.

This makes sense for WTC 7 but not the towers. Why would they let all the rescue people die like that is beyond me. If they sensed a wobble, and they had the instruments in place to do that, one would think they would pull the rescue wrokers out before the demolition.

Anyways...this subject will always tantalize science & engineering junkies like me...but we will never know. So personally, I try not to get caught up in the absolute truth of it all and instead just deal with possibilities.

Okay...enough bloviating...time to go search for a YouTube re: this.

From what I understand there were no deaths associated with WTC 7 and its destruction did not seem necessary... just one of those lingering things, I have issues with the whole conspiracy theorists. Primarily, takes too many people to pull this off, keep it silent and no one of any credibility has ever spoken about their role in it. I know money buys silence, but there are other issues associated with it...conscience!!!! This part of 9-11 never made real good sense to me, and makes less after Silversteins interview on PBS.
