Gen. Batiste: Rumsfeld ‘Served Up Our Great Military A Huge Bowl of Chicken Feces’

Today on the Chris Matthews show, General Batiste took a big swipe at Darling Donald and the rest of the crew, guess there are a few cracks in the armor once again...this guy will probably be swiftboated also.

Today on MSNBC, retired General John Batiste — former commander of the First Infantry division in Iraq — said that it was “outrageous� Rumsfeld was still in charge of the Pentagon. Batiste added, “He served up our great military a huge bowl of chicken feces, and ever since then, our military and our country have been trying to turn this bowl into chicken salad.�

I don't know how many more of these retired generals and officers can come out and criticize the top of the military command (Bush and his freaky friends) before it starts getting soldiers killed. Guys like him and Murtha need to STFU and stop killing the troops. Pretty soon we won't have any officers left to defend our President...then what?

Well let see, Batiste is not saying what fat slob Murtha is saying at all, Murtha is saying to put your head up your own ass, about face, and run as fast as you can. Batiste is saying that we needed to be more aggressive and sadly we were not, and that ultimatly lies at the feet of Rumsfeld, but not for the worry that the PC democrats would of criticized aggressiveness at every chance they would of had, as seen with gitmo and abu-graib, we could of been on our way home now. All the ******* democrats should look themselves in the mirror, and puke in disgust of what left wing political games have caused to the American pride and Soldiers lives.

That's idiotic. To blame the death of a single soldier in Iraq on anything other than an IED or gunshot from an Iraqi is bulls--t. If you want to blame anything else, start with Bush. Would you be happy if every Democrat of Left-thinker were killed?

When our young men and women go to boot camp there are many fine role models in our military for those that desire to be the best they can be. For some, they reach those heights when they become a General.

So how many of these young men and woman want to go on to be Rumsfeld?

My position on Rumsfeld has been stated here before. In fact, I was the 1st one right of center to criticize Rumsfeld and his incompetance. It makes no sense at all to invest billions in a military that has a leader who did not work his way up the ladder.

I would bet the moral of our service people will take a huge lift when Rumsfeld is gone. many posters here hate Bush...me...I've always hated rumsfeld the most...and this was even before Afghanistan...rich people's richness does not qualify them for such positions...that should be based on intelligence and common sense. Rumsfeld has intelligence, but for common sense he is at a poverty level.

First, PFIEL, soldiers died because people like you sent them to war. If it was up to the progressive Democrats, those soldiers would not ever have been in Iraq and the world would be a safer place. So, don't try to deny responsibility for advocating the war, which is the reason soldiers died.

Second, moderate Democrats and Republicans called for more troops, not fewer, earlier in the campaign. Rummy felt the war could be done on the cheap, and Bush and his supporters backed that position. Again, the reason the war was done on the cheap, is because of people with views like yours. Had you instead opted to side with those who called for more troops, perhaps the situation would have played out differently.

Again, the loss of life in Iraq is a direct result of those who favored attacking Iraq. If it wasn't for those people, our soldiers would not be dead. Further, even if your rationalization was logical, the fact is your party has power in the WH and the Congress. If they didn't have the guts to do what was right because of protests of the activists, then it proves the point that they are unqualified to lead our nation.
