I agree this is important news, but it was just as important on August 17 (the date of the article you posted), when it was already discussed to death. Why post old news?

I found that other thread and FTW was opining the ACLU was judge shopping.

The judge in question who ruled on the unconstitutionality of warrantless wire-tapping happens to be a trustee of an orginization that supports another orginization that believes in the uconstitutionality of wiretapping.
This judge consistenly supports a given interpretation of the constitution..

Look at the pro-life judges, they are firm believers in their beliefs.
And when the prolife orginization wants a legal decision they will bring these judges. pretty common in american justice to apply these practices to issues such as this. There is balance on these decisions as they will go to the supreme court....

Except that the court in question assigns judges to cases randomly. FTW alleged the ACLU "paid off" (bribed) the clerk...

I didn't read that thread thoroughly, but I'm not surprised of his opinion.

And now it comes out that she is the ACLU's Michigan Jihad office's Secretary.

SO let's get this straight. SHe has previously been reprimaned for trying to pry a case away from another Judge (or Judge SHopping), she is reetired, and she is a MEMBER OF THE ACLU, and her chapter donated large sums of money to help fund this lawsuit. But no, this case JUST HAPPENED TO GET ASSIGNED TO HER. If you believe that, I also have some oceanfront property right next to a senile, deranged old man in Phoenix that I would like to sell you.

You are lying, outright, again..

She is not the ACLU's secretary, she is the Secretary of the Community Foundation for Southeastern Michigan, which has donated money to the ACLU. I don't know how well that sits with me either, but you are very full of it. Do you lie in your profession, too?
