Isreal's just got to get this over with. You can't negotiate with the Lebanese government because Hezbolla tolerates their presence, not the other way around, and you can't negotiate with someone who's stated position is that the other side must be completely wiped out. Isreal has made countless efforts at peace, the other side has done nothing but kill.
Hezbolla's position leaves me classifing them as rabid dogs who need to be put down. I ain't thrilled about seeing a bunch of dead babies, but there's times when there's no other choice. When Hezbolla is gone, reasonable people can sit down and make a deal that everyone can live with. |
