Congratulations to Italy
It was a hard road to the Final -- a lot of good teams fell by the wayside. Finally, at the end of everything, only one was left standing.
Congratulations to them -- and thanks to all for a great World Cup. Now, when's training camp?

Congratulations to the Azzuri!! I think overall they deserve it. Not the greatest game ever played, but I'm sure all Italians won't be giving a toss as long as that trophy is heading back to their homeland.

i agree: not a very well game playied from us (France playied better) but: the result is fine... Campioni del Mondo ! ps = difficult to sleep this night...

I have tried but cannot fully understand the interest in Soccer, and cannot understand why France is disliked so much??

For the life of me, I have no idea why Italy sat on their hands after the red card gave them the man advantage. And why not extend the last OT to a sudden death without a shootout? Not a good way to end the greatest sports event, IMO.
