Default ACLU Sues Over Law Banning Protests At Soldiers' Funerals

I fully support free speech, but not lunatic religious fanatics. The ACLU is dead wrong on this one.

I agree with you bmf31c, but I do respect the philosophy of the ACLU. They are consistent in their fight for freedom of speech and association. Extremists do more harm to their cause then good when they protest soldiers' funerals. That said, I really don't give a sh!t if someone takes away some rights from extremist lunatics, even if philosophically I think they are entitled to those rights.

I don't think they're wrong. The lunatic fringe needs to be contained, but there shouldn't be a law against it. Instead, they can protest if they want, but they should be liable to be beaten or shot.

The ACLU is just as big a threat to America as the Radical Islamic Terrorist Savages are.

Fred Phelps and Westboro Baptist Church, deserve the entitlements of the laws with all its protections. With that being said there are other ways of taking care of business, if they really wanted to. This administration is above the law anyways, so if the Republican savior in the White House wanted things to be different all he has to do it tell someone to take care of them.

Re: Fred Phelps and those like him.

The officials need to turn a blind eye to some old fashioned "Frontier Justice" imparted upon them.
