Without listing a bunch of reasons which would make me generalize about the left and right, I would be shocked if Belichick were a Conservative. Although I don't know, I clearly think he's a Liberal. But I'll still be his fan anyway

Heh, personally I think he's socially liberal, though considering how well he manages the salary cap it wouldn't surprise me if he had fiscal conservative leanings.

Moderate Republican, at a guess, hence why I voted for conservative.

Conservative. He's a believer in rules and order. He demands a high level of personal responsibility and accountability. He has no problem rewarding exceptional effort, and is just as quick when it comes time to cut loose someone who won't give 100%.

Belichick seems like a Conservative Democrat...old school JFK kind of man.

Compassion for those who need it, help for those that seek it, and disdain for those that steal and/or abuse it.

A true, old fashioned conservative does not need power. Many conservative Republicans crave power as a method to achieve their means.

Many, old fashioned, blue-collar mentality people of old were old fashioned moderates/conservatives...Belichick comes from that mold.

I think he's too much of a pragmatist to be a party line guy. Social moderate (though I think he could care less about most social issues), fiscally conservative.

My guess is independent, the choice of intelligent men...
