Default If Bush could seek a third term, would you vote for him?

If the constitution were amended to remove presidential term limits and Bush ran in 2008, would you vote for him?

This will be very misleading as not many here likely voted for him. I'd be interested in an option of "I voted for him in 2004 but wouldn't in 2008".

For the record, I voted for him in 2000 but not in 2004 primarily due to his medicare prescription drug giveaway. I don't need to be paying for Viagra for old men. And I wouldn't vote for him in 2008.

There's nothing misleading. I'm looking to guage the opinions of people HERE, I'm not trying to extrapolate the results.

That's fine, it's just 100% meaningless in any way. But if that's what you're looking for - great.

If any of the above were Bush's opponent I WOULD VOTE FOR BUSH.

Whatever happened to the real Old Time Democrats in the Democratic Party.

It's meaningful within the context of this forum (e.g., so I know how many of you are completely nuts).

I answered no. I guess I am jaded, though, as I live in CA so my vote is even more meaningless than most as it has no chance to swing the vote.

Thinking about it, if I had to vote (D) or (R) and Bush was the (R) nominee then, yes, I would vote for him. However I would not vote for him in the prinary and would vote (L) again unless CA was a tossup state.

Didn't vote for him when he was Gov. of Texas, didn't vote for him in 2000, 2004, nor would I vote for him if he could run again. I'm not sure if you will get more then three yea votes for him on this forum. Those three would also vote for Bush if his rival was President Clinton.

Ditto although I'd hold my nose before checking the box next to his name.

I cannot believe people would still choose Bush over Gore. What exactly is wrong with Gore? I know someone could put together a list of Gore flaws, but they would look weak in comparison to W.
