Sleaze by former Delay aid

Is it any coincidence that Tom Delay had so many fraudulent, sleazy people on his staff?

I don't accept that answer. Its the same defense as, well they all do it. Nixon was corrupt, well they all are guilty, he just got caught. While I do concur that there is a lot of sleazy politicians, I would not include all of them. I don't recall ever hearing anything sleazy concerning Orrin Hatch. I may disagree with his opinions, but wouldn't lump him in with this guy.
This guy used a non-profit organization to make a lot of money. That is disturbing and I hope he sees a significant amount of jail time.

You're kidding, right? Do you really think this guy will see a second behind bars. Millionaire lawyers with political connections don't go to jail for this. He hasn't killed or raped anyone.

It's not an excuse, but I don't think Harry Boy was saying it's OK, he's just saying why he's not surprised. The people do have the power to take their government back, by the way... liberal, conservative, and otherwise - we're all getting screwed by the status quo.
