Default Paul Hackett learns the truth about liberals

http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/02/....ap/index.html

Quote:
"My donor base and host base on both coasts was contacted by elected officials and asked to stop giving," Hackett said. "The original promise to me from Schumer was that I would have no financial concerns. It went from that to Senator Schumer actually working against my ability to raise money."

Nice of the Dem's to set this guy up for failure ... Way to treat those Vets!

The Weasle Reid & Schumer, professional back stabbers, their Jealousy for the "Hated Bush" is driving them insane.

It kills them when they hear the words, "Ladies and gentlemen, the president of the Untied States" then George Bush enters the room, "grinning".

Yeah..this is BS. Its not about liberals so much as it is about the morons at the DNC, IMO. This is why they cannot win elections. They are completely incapable of running effective campaigns. I hope he runs as an independant, but I don't think it will happen.

In the paraphrased words of Lewis Black: Dems- the party of no ideas. GOP- the party of bad ideas.

That guy Hackett is away over on the opposite side of the fence from me but I admire him, he is all man, they knew he wouldn't stand for their Ratty Crap and dishonest bashing and whining, so they dumped him.

Your thread title is completely off base IMO. The entrenched career Democrats are losing for a very clear reason. They are Republican-lite. They haven't figured out why they keep losing. But his being asked to step down is EXACTLY why they lose. Its not that they are too liberal, its that they are not progressive enough.

The DINO bastards who kiss Bushs ass are career politicians, sucking at the tit of the Bush dynasty, thrown a few scraps here and there just to stay in line. Paul Hackett would have none of that and called Bush out for the cheap fraud criminal that he is. And the DNC wouldn't have any of it. So they backstabbed him.

Howard Dean has actually came out criticizing Hacket being forced out of the race, blaming on politics in Washington. I Think the pressure to drop out came from the DSCC, not Dean's DNC in this case.
