Default 24 Premier was kickass!!!

Don't want to give any spoilers for our west coast brethren, but that show has the "suck you in-suspense/cliffhanger" formula down pat!

I agree Joe, I got hooked on this show when I was in school with the Air Force last year and have been looking forward to the premier for a while now. I love the way they just keep racheting up the suspense and leave you hanging evey episode, and starting the season off with a two night, four hour premier!! You just can't beat that. Take care.

Another great night on 24! Please tell me Joe and I are not the only ones that watch this show here. Take care.

Nope. I've watched every episode since hour 1 season 1. I have to say I was a little disappointed in last season's arc, but I never give up. This season is off to a good start. 24, The Shield and the new Battlestar Galactica are the only shows I put down my laptop and just sit and watch.

I also watch the show. I have all 4 seasons on DVD. This show simply kicks butt, especially in High Definition.

I suppose I'd agree that last year's plot line was a bit implausible, but there's a certain amount of suspended reality if you're willing to buy everything happening in a 24 hour period as it stands

I give them credit for the opening this season

Everyone's watching in the first 15 minutes and says "ah, President Palmer - I like him... I 'm glad he's back again this year!"

BAM! - shot dead.

Oh well - at least Michelle and Tony are doing well - they've been great characters since Season one

BOOM! One dead and one a vegetable.

Only 24 can kill off 2 popular characters in 15 minutes and get away with it.

The only person who seems safe is Jack, and quite frankly, the show's not above killing him off either.

That's amazing. Too bad the show wasn't on last night. I hope you are kidding and weren't actually allowed to reproduce.

My sister and her husband did that last year. They rented them all through Netflix. Watching them as a marathon one hour after the next is the best way to watch the show.
