Unfortunately script errors are a very common problem throughout inet land. Rather than get indigestion over it I installed a free app called "no script" and my script issue problem is solved. At least with Mozilla.

There shouldn't be ANY pop-up ads on this site. Where are you experiencing them? - Ian

It appears to be the E-Bay ads.

It won't let me copy the error message (cut-paste) so I'll have to write it down and retype it it if required.

Thanks,
craig

Here is the first portion of the error message:

Internet Explorer Script Error
An Error has occurred on Script Page

Line: 8
Char: 419
Error: Syntax Error
Code: 0
URL: http://ads.gmodules.com/ig/ifr?

url:http:gga.ebay.cachetastic.com//xml

I hope this is some help.
Craig

I just ran a Deep Scan on anti-Virus and all is clear.

What ever generates the E-bay ads is causing errors in them... When the ads are gone so are the error messages.

I think it's a virus or someone who embedded something onto your PC. We don't currently use Ebay ads here, and it's very common for people to malicously try and get Ebay cookies to people because Ebay pays a percentage of those sales for the life of the cookie, so the more people that hackers infect the more money they make. Pop Up Ads are common because the second it's opened the cookie is embedded.

One Virus program typically won't get rid of most spyware. Try this method here:

Have a Virus Or Spyware You Can't Get Rid of?

This worked great and cleaned my PC perfectly. - Ian
