Default Favorite Player on Each Team

I was lurking on a Colts forum and stumbled upon this interesting topic. I root for the laundry and would have a tough time coming up with the name of a player on each of the teams, but, for you football fans, what players do you like on other teams and why?

Cleveland Browns
Dallas Cowboys
Denver Broncos
Detroit Lions
Green Bay Packers

I like the punters on all the other teams. Unfortunately, we see too little of them.

I can honestly say that I don't have favorites on every team. Some teams like the Ravens and Jets, the team attitude just sucks so bad that I don't like any of the players. Others, I either don't like anyone on the team or don't know enough of the players, any more, to like any.

Arizona Cardinals - Larry Fitzgerald - Best WR in the league, bar none. Too bad he hasn't had a real QB throwing him the ball since Kurt Warner was there.

Baltimore Ravens - Ed Reed is the only one on that team that I respect. But I can't say that I like him.

Buffalo Bills - Fred Jackson - Talk about a hard working guy who pulled himself up and forced the Bills to give him a job..

Chicago Bears - Matt Forte - He just goes out and gets the job done. He's been under-rated.

Dallas Cowboys - Jason Witten - He does so much in the Dallas area with community service, it's a wonder he has time for anything else.

Detroit Lions - Calvin Johnson - Guy has the attitude of Barry Sanders..

Houston Texans - Connor Barwin - I was one of those on the Connor Barwin bandwagon. I still wish the Pats had taken him.

Pittsburgh Steelers - Brad Keisel - Total lunch-pail guy. Goes out. Does his job. totally under-rated.

Cincinnati Bengals - BenJarvus Green-Ellis - He earned my respect and it's well deserved. Kid busted his arse and turned it into a big pay-day despite not being used enough by Bill O'Brien.

Like you, I don't have favorites on every team. And I agree with several of your picks. But some guys who I would dearly like to have on the Pats include:

Baltimore Ravens - DL Haloti Ngata. Ed Reed is an all-time great, but he's too banged up and at the tail of his career. Ngata is my favorite defensive player in the NFL not on the Patriots.

Chicago Bears - RB Matt Forte. I agree, he's under-rated, and would fit our offense perfectly.

Houston Texans - DE/OLB Connor Barwin. Like you, I still pine for Barwin.

NY Jets - OC Nick Mangold. It kills me to like a Jet, but I can't find much fault with Mangold, either as a player or in how he conducts himself. He may be the best lineman in the NFL over the past 6 years, damn him.

New Orleans Saints - TE Jimmy Graham. I'd take him over any WR in the game, but that's just my bias. Hard to argue with Larry Fitzgerald and Calvin Johnson.

San Francisco 49ers - DE Justin Smith. What you wrote about Brett Keisel, and then some.

I also love your Fred Jackson pick.
