Next to Brady returning, wathcing Mangina steaming on the sidelines was the best time i've had so far this year. Packers over Browns 17-0 singing:

Quinn completed four straight passes in the two-minute offense just before the half to move the Browns to the Packers' 6 before Braylon Edwards dropped a would-be touchdown pass. On the next play, Quinn threw behind Edwards, and Green Bay safety Anthony Smith picked off the pass.

"That was a poor decision on my part," Quinn said. "Especially in that situation, you want to come away with at least some points. If it's not a touchdown, a field goal. I put that on myself, and I apologize to my teammates."
Now if they could only arrange for his teamates to apologize to Quinn, particularly Edwards, and get Mangini to stop playing ridiculous head games with the most important position on his roster, they might be on to something. Mangini is making it tough for his own offense to build an identity or rhythm with his indecisive game of musical QB's.

This is his perverse understanding of Training Camp Competition... what a tool, hope he gets fired again.

My mother sold me and my siblings to Colombian drug lords when I was five, years later she found me and apoligized and immediately stole 10,000 from my bank account, the next time I saw her she had her biker boyfriend shoot me in the stomach,I have forgiven her....I will never forgive Mangini.

He should name Quinn the starter and move on. Maybe some weirdo would give him a decent pick for Anderson. I dunno. The fact he got a gig so quickly was a surprise. I think he could actually be a decent HC if he cut the bull. That whole rookie on a long bus ride to a camp for kids... that was BS too. Mangini seems like the kind of guy who COULD be a successful winner but keeps doing stupid things that prevent him from achieving.

That's exactly what he's trying to do with his posts, avatar and signature.... and it's certainly worked on you. Occasionally, though, he comes out with some pretty funny stuff (i.e. dynastification), and sometimes even a glimmer of insight. Wouldn't surprise me if he is an "alter ego" for another poster.

So isn't that the classic definition of a loser? Someone who habitually sabotages himself?

Might the Browns be a team where Tom Jackson's "they hate their coach" is valid?

Obviously he has a large number of photographs, or other compromising material, on the owner and City officials.

There's nothing else I can think of to justify giving him another shot.

He's the Brett Favre of Coaches.
