So a 3 way tie of first is possible if we lose tonight but we will have sole ownership of first if we win.

Actually, with tiebreakers the standings would be as follows...

1) Patriots (5-3) [1-0 against Jets]
2) Jets (5-3) [1-0 against Bills]
3) Bills (5-3) [0-1 against Jets]

Yeah, the win by the Jets ensures that if we lose we'll still be in the situation we're in right now: in first, but by a technicality.

Just a technicality, J E T S JETS JETS JETS and the Pats would both be 5 and 3, close enough!

Huge win for the Jets on the road today, if the Pats lose, that would be a huge momentum change in the AFCE.
