I know it's STILL early in this season, but does their start remind you of the Pats '01 Super Bowl run? They don't make mistakes, they're disciplined, their QB knows how to manage games, they stop the run very well, they consistently make plays late in games, and their coach consistently game plans well AND exploits matchups even better.
If anything, Jim Zorn is a HUGE upgrade over Joe Gibbs II-Gibbs II just stuck to his old-school line'em up, smash'em in the mouth philosophies no matter what the situations were b/c that's ALL he knew. As a result, he couldn't exploit the oppositions' matchups on consistent basis.

They are looking amazing and when you look back at their Week 1 game they almost look like a new team. And if history repeats its self they will be the winner of Super Bowl 43.

Well, to be fair to Gibbs, the Gibbs system is designed around a veteran who know what he's doing, and Campbell was a terrible fit in that. Now, Campbell has been seasoned, and Zorn is reaping the benefits.

Boomer was on EEI this morning saying they are the most impressive team so far. Their last two victories have been very impressive.
But I can't get over the thrashing the Pats gave this team last year. The Skins were supposed to be a tough opponent and we gave them as brutal a beating as imaginable. Sure, a lot can change in a season, but for now, I can't take the "pretenders" label off them based on how easily they were exposed last season around this time.
Right now I gotta say the best team is who the best team was last year: the Giants. In fact, it makes you feel a little better about the Patriots loss - I think we did lose to a better team. The game is won in the trenches, and the Giants are quite strong there.
Still, watching so many teams around the league struggle and seeing everyone on about the same level just makes me angrier that Brady is out...despite Cassel's good job filling in so far, I have to think that with a healthy Brady, it probably ends up being Pats v Giants again in the Super Bowl. It still might, but the road will be more difficult.

I live in DC, so I watch every snap of every Skins game whether I want to or not, and things certainly seem to have clicked. Campbell particularly has impressed me, he's managing the game well, making the throws when he has to, and avoiding mistakes.
The most impressive thing about the team so far is that they have yet to turn the ball over, setting an NFL record for games without a turnover to begin the season. Obviously that can't last forever, but if they continue to hold onto the ball as well as they have, and Portis continues to shine, this team is going to be in it the whole way.

They def. did a 180 since week one, I wouldnt crown them yet. Dont forget about Miami....just kidding, but you could you imagin? The way this season is going nothing would suprise me though. But yea, the skink looked at week 1 to be a 0-16 team with no fire, to superbowl contenders so far.

The thing you can't forget about them, they have now played @ NYG, @ PHI, and @ DAL and went 2-1. They have three division games left, each one at home. They play the crappy AFC North (save Pitt), they play the awful NFC West (already beat Arizona), and they play the Lions. They are long through the toughest part of their schedule, and they did it at 4-1.

I live in Columbia, also watch them every week.
Their next 3 are at home vs. St. Louis, at home vs. Cleveland, at Pissburgh. They could very easily be 7-1 at the halfway point.

that thrashing was a little unfair...
their starting safety was killed before that game, and we had a record setting passing game...things were no going to go that well for them...
but yea...u as a pats fan should know...teams w/ good records around the league does not mean that they can beat us...
the pats usually beat the best teams out there pretty easily when it is necessary
its the dolphins of the world we have probs with
