Round 3
Another great round from 59 year old Tom Watson sees him take a one shot lead into the final round tomorrow. Although he finished +1 for the round, only 5 of 65 players posted an under par score today.
He goes out tomorrow with Aussie player Mathew Goggin. Also only one behind along with Goggin is Englishman Ross Fisher.
I really hope Tom goes onto win it but there is a group of 4 players only a couple of shots off the lead, anyone of them is capable of winning. They are
Westwood, Goosen, Furyk and Cink.
As one of the commentators has pointed out, Lee Westwood hasn't had a break on the greens during the first 3 rounds but is driving beautifully. He is due some luck tomorrow.
I'm not sure what is going through Ross Fisher's mind at the moment. Joint second in the Open and he has declared that if is wife goes into labour at any point he will walk off the course and go and join her.

To do what? Be in a room with a squealing woman suffering in pain surrounded by other women who are paid to be there and get the job done. If he has any sense, he will do everything possible to miss the birth, go and visit her in the hospital room with some flowers and balloons, then go on the piss with his mates.
