Move this if you want. Having seen Rick Pitino play in the NIT in Madison Square Garden, then almost forgot about our BBall team for years until they were revived and eventually had the greatest season any 6 deep team ever had, this UMass alum just wants to say, I love John Calipari. Well deserved.

Well deserved? You're kidding, right? Two major violations that caused his team's Final Four appearances to be struck off the books? Writing the blueprint for what will be the death of college ball?
Meh. Kentucky were a great team, as any team with four NBA starters ought to be. Fantastic interior defense and they definitely deserved to win the game today, no complaints about that. But Calipari deserves nothing but scorn in my opinion for blackening the beautiful game of college ball.
Paperwork is already being filled out at NCAA headquarters for suspensions and revocation of the title. I'm a Umass alum, too, and Calipari is a stain on my school.

As a Umass alum who was at school during that year, I just want to add that I have nothing but scorn for that slimy biatch.

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.
This is known as "bad luck." RAH
Camby showed up in Amherst for one reason and one reason only: $$$. Top recruit commits to a school that hasn't been heard from since the doctor rolled out?
Then Louis Roe: he was a player, but I remember clearly how no one would touch the kid with a ten foot pole. Suddenly he shows up at UMass.

Proud of my Jayhawks in defeat.
Go screw a moose, my friend. Everybody has to lose sometimes, some do it with dignity, while others...
