Default Help Me Evaluate This Trade

My buddy offered me a trade in this league we're in together.

To Me (Pick Six Peyton):
Wes Welker
Brandon Jackson
To My Buddy (Laser Show):
Frank Gore
I shot that down real quick but would like to upgrade my WRs. Before I get into it though, here's a quick breakdown of the league we're playing in.

10 teams starting the following positions:
QB
WR
WR
RB
RB
TE
W/R/T
W/R/T
K
DEF
8 player bench

Code:
Pick Six Peyton
QB
Eli Manning
WR1
Roddy White
WR2
Marques Colston
RB1
Frank Gore
RB2
Jamaal Charles
TE
Antonio Gates
W/R/T1
Vernon Davis
W/R/T2
Tim Hightower
K
Rob Bironas
DEF
NY Giants
Bench: Justin Forsett Mike Wallace Jeremy Maclin Carnell Williams Devin Aromashodu Mario Manningham Kansas City Def Cincinatti Def
Code:
Laser Show
QB
Drew Brees
WR1
Greg Jennings
WR2
Steve Smith
RB1
Ahmad Bradshaw
RB2
Mike Tolbert
TE
Zach Miller
W/R/T1
Wes Welker
W/R/T2
Mike Sims-Walker
K
Ryan Longwell
DEF
Philadelphia
Bench: Ronnie Brown Ryan Matthews Brandon Jackson Ladanian Tomlinson Ben Roethlisberger Jacoby Jones Fred Taylor Demaryius Thomas
The trade I want to offer him is the following

To Laser Show:
Steve Smith (CAR)
Wes Welker
Brandon Jackson
To Pick Six Peyton:
Jamaal Charles
Vernon Davis
Jeremy Maclin
Does this seem like a good trade for me to offer? It seems pretty fair and somehow Brent Celek ended up on the waiver wire. I put a claim in for him and if he ends up on my team I could really get over losing Vernon Davis really quickly. What do PatsFans?

He would have to be a fool to do that trade. It's clear at best Charles will be splitting carries with Jones which makes him useless unless Jones gets hurt. Clearly not doable.

I completely disagree especially if this is a PPR league.

Welker is great, but you're giving up Vick's favorite target, Alex Smith's favorite target along with Charles who is like a mini CJ. Steve Smith is useless w/o a decent QB and Jackson is hardly worth starting.

You look pretty solid at WR anyway. If I were you I'd be looking to upgrade at QB. Eli scares me come December in that Jersey cold air.

I'm looking to deal Michael Vick while he's hot.

I offered this:

Vick and Cotchery

for

Ryan Mathews and Alex Smith

I wouldn't do this deal. As stated Charles is splitting carries with Thomas, Hightower is splitting carries with Wells. Brandon Jackson isn't doing squat with GB and is splitting carries with the other guy there. Cadillac isn't doing anything and is splitting carries with Graham and their rookie RB.

Mike Wallace is coing along nicely, Roddy White has been a beast and will continue to get the majority of the looks from Ryan, Davis and Gore are clearly the two that make the offense go in SF, Gates is the man in SD, and Colston is always a great WR to have on your roster.

I think that you need to keep what you got unless someone offers you something good at QB. BTW, why do you only have one QB?

You shouldn't play anymore. Seriously, Vick is ridiculous and while I know that it's a little scary with him not knowing if he's going to keep the starter position, he has done nothing to warrant that he won't. Ryan Matthews hasn't impressed me a bit this year and Alex Smith is a JAG at best.

You should be able to get something MUCH better than Alex Smith and Matthews for Vick and Cotchery.

Why not hold on to Vick and reap the rewards now? How's the rest of your team?

for Vick you should get something better than an injured and underperforming Mathews and Smith.

Vick is top 5 in scoring in my league
