Default Add to reputation?

How does that work? If I click the "scales of justice" for a poster his or her reputation will improve?

I've been curious about that too. Is there somewhere to check your own reputation? or the rep of others?

If you click on the vbrep_register("792461") then you can give rep points to people, either good or bad.. You can click on your own user CP to see if you have received any.

Exactly. Some forums actually use it for other things but it's more or less a guideline where if you post something that no one else has read yet, people are more apt to believe you if you are a reputable poster.

Some technical forums use it to help people find the best person to get information from, that sort of thing. At least that's where I've seen it really utilized. We haven't really done that here yet. - Ian
