They even had the referees on their side at the start, five years from now maybe everyone learning the league really wanted a Game 7, but even that wasn't enough to help these quitters.>>>>

From an LA writer no less................

They'll find out Randy can't run consistently anymore. He'll drive [Tom] Brady and [Bill] Belichick crazy. This is just my personal opinion from what I saw: He's losing his legs. He's becoming an old man fast.

Great read. A lot of fun.

It truly is astounding how many media experts picked the Lakers to win. They were just terrible.

Even after the blowout, the media was still saying how they will be back and the Celtics have this small window to add one or two more championships. I think the Celtics will be in the finals next year, and doubt that they will play the Lakers unless they rob another team of a stud defensive player. When the Celtics window closes, how good do you think the Portland Trail Blazers will be and good luck with handling that frontcourt with Oden.

The Big three aren't done yet. They still have several years left in the tank and Rondo is making me VERY excited about the future for him. Perk is still very young and is improving. He is a very solid starter for us and has some other young decent role players who can come off the bench and play well.

Course we're gonna need to get more players in the FA this off season but if we cant get Posey and House back which I don't expect them to be, I at least want us to resign Tony Allen (he was doing very well for us in 06 before he got hurt and I think he can bounce back and be a very productive roleplayer). Then we need to get some guys through FA.
