Default 5 in a row

Starting to feel a little better about this team. Paul Pierce and Al Jefferson
have been fantastic during the steak. I know the teams they have beaten are not the cream of the crops but it's a good start.

IMO does not matter who they beat, every win is a confidence builder and who they beat does not show up in the W column.

Jefferson is averaging 20/12 over the last 5, and went 28/10 against Camby and 22/10 against Okafor, two of the best defenders in the NBA.

Fun to watch...Al Jefferson is coming into his own and Tony Allen on the court vs the virtually immobile Wally keeps their juices flowing. Even Jefferson admited last night...defense is on their mind all the time now. Give Doc lots of credit for that and his use of Tony Allen which has a carryover effect on the others.

It's been nice, I hope they keep Big Al at center even when Perk gets back. You can't argue with the success he's having at the position - I don't know whether it's b/c of who ends up defending him (a PF would have more speed to neutralize Big Al) or the fact that the lane is just clearer with their small lineup, but Big Al is a force down low.

Let's hope Doc rewards him for his play.

Now 5 in a row the other way. Sad, Doc really has to go.

Yeah .. Doc will have to go ... but he'll last most of the season.

Also ... Paul Pierce must go also ... it truly gives us the best chance
at Oden ... by the time this team gets better Pierce's best days
will be behind him ... he deserves better without question.
