Avery Bradley was the #1 rated HS senior a year ago, even above John Wall. He got stuck with a terrible coach at Texas who mis-utilized him, similar to why Rondo slipped in the draft to #21 after playing in Kentucky. At worst Bradley will be a better version of Tony Allen - a premiere lock down defender who looks for his own shot, but the thing is Bradley actually has a good jump shot (but is terrible at free throws). Bradley could eventually become the successor to Ray Allen in maybe 2 years and form a starting back court with Rondo.

Harangody is probably Notre Dame's best power forward ever. He isn't that athletic and is slow, but he is very physical, isn't afraid to bang down low, and in my opinion has a better touch around the rim than Perkins. If he were 4 inches taller people would be a lot higher on him. He's got a little Barkley in him as a 6 foot 7 power forward who plays bigger than his height..

Meh is a great way to describe the Celtics draft. Bradley has talent. Like another poster said, he was rated as big time a HS prospect as John Wall was, prior to last year. They were Prospects 1A & 1B basically. Still, he was less than mediocre compared to Wall as a freshman, system or no system. At #19 it's a crap shoot, so taking the player you view to have the most talent, is fine by me. He's not particularly tall, but does have an above average wingspan for his size. Height isn't as important as wingspan IMO. You don't defend someone with the top of your head, you do so with the tips of your hands. Time will tell with this kid. Not a need position, but the BPA in Danny's eyes.

Harangody, or whatever his name is....meh. A 6'7 PF who can't jump, and has short arms. Don't we already have one of those? It's pick #52, so a warm body is about all you can expect. He could serve as a decent role player off the bench.

I was hoping someone like Xavier Henry, or Luke Babbit would slip to the C's somehow. Oh well.

I agree with you on the Bradley pick but Harangody should be a solid contributor.....I am sure you are talking about Big Baby as a comparison....The thing is that Baby was our best rebounder in the playoffs and makes the hustle plays just like harangody does.....Luke is a better offensive player in my opinion......I would rather have smaller guys that hustle and do the little things like diving for balls then bigger guys that just stand flat footed and expect to get the rebounds.....
