Default Celtics/Hawks

Anyone care to go back to last year's playoffs with the Hawks and repeat how terrible that team is and the Celtics have no business going 7 games with them? I said then that that team was starting to jell and would be one tough team to beat. I hope we don't have to fact them in this years' playoffs, but probably will.

The Celtics had a bad game last night, they are off too slow starts in most games this season then picking up the intensity right when you think the game is getting out of hand, which means if they played this way throughout the whole game they will be blowing people out of the water. This is still training camp for them considering how short there off season was. I’m not worried.

Also Bibby sucks

I think they're def a team to be reckoned with. You were met with skeptics in the ensuing posts, but I think they're legit. Smith, Horford, Johnson - that's a pretty good core, and they have a good coach.

Thanks.
I know the Celts have been starting out slow and all, but this Atlanta team is good. People here are still makeing excuses for why they win. They are a young and very athletic team that will give a lot of teams trouble. I wouldn't be surprised if they end up with the second best record in the east.

The Hawks are a decent team there is no doubt about that. I just think comparably the Celtics starting lineup is leaps and bounds better then the Hawks and a pretty even comparison on the bench. I think they will finish 5th or 6th in the East

Wow, are we totally opposite of each other. Maybe Cleveland and Orlando beat them out. I don't see anyone else coming close. Detroit is a no-show this year. New York is not going anywhere. I don't see any other teams beating them out.

I would say maybe a 7th or 8th seed. I know they look good out of the gates, but Mike Bibby cant carry a team forever. Besides everyone but me here in augusta thinks the hawks are only capable of a 7th seed anyway

This is my prediction for the East.
1.) Celtics
2.) Cavs
3.) Pistons
4.) Orlando
5.) 76ers
6.) Hawks
7.) Miami
8.) Indy

The only blemish that I see in the list is the Pistons placed at number 3 position...
