Given that both offenses were pretty unstoppable, I'd say that the plays that made the difference were the exceptions that mattered:
  • JAX fumble
  • "Neal" penalty
  • Ghost miss
Plus for positive ones, I guess, the TD throws into tight coverage and/or in the face of fierce rush.

At least the Pats get the ball first. That means they came out of the first half with a small advantage ...

we have never been good on offense when we get the ball in the 2nd half. lets see if we can change it this time.

I just realized how Moss is completely taken out of the game.

So far the Pats:

*Had to attempt a FG
*Missed that FG
*Gave up a 30+ yard play
*Allowed 2/2 red zone TD conversions

This is how teams take us to the wire. It's going to come down to the closing minutes of the 4th (if not beyond). We're in for a nailbiter.

Well 14-14 at the half. I wasn't thrilled with Gostkowski's shank... but the Pats get the ball to start the second half. Let's get it going Patriots!
