There Ought To Be a Law Thread.
A new idea for a thread ... well new here anyways.
I'm always telling my kids "there ought to be a law ..." Silly  stuff of course ... never serious.  My favorite: There ought to be a law against having to wake up early on weekends. |

There should be a law against using the word like to attempt to describe how you reacted to something. Or using the word basically to mean simply put. There should also be a law against made up combined words like "ginormous".
