Default Most underated football movie: The Best of Times

that movie always cracks me up. Robin Williams is great. Kurt Russell actually looks like a QB. I totally related to the scene when they are sneaking peaks at Monday night Football during a date with their estranged wives.

Totally agree. My wife & her Pats fan brother love that flick too.

The wives get so 'needy' after having booted out the football crazed hubbies that they entice them back with offer of a dinner. Too bad a game was on.

I literally 'bumped into' Kurt Russell at the old Thoreau Swim & Tennis Health Club . He was in Concord MA when Goldie was filming "House Sitter". He makes Flutie look big.

My favorite Football movie is "The Program" with James Cann as the head coach.

I don't know about underrated but one of my guilty pleasure is The Replacements. Staring the "great" Keanu Reeves and Gene Hackman. I know it's really isn't an Oscar type of film but I enjoy it.

Ah you beat me to it, that movie was fantastic.

I'm also a big fan of Varsity Blues. You can't go wrong with football, Jon Voight, and Ali Larder in a whipped cream bikini.

Seriously? I don't think you could go wrong with Ali Larder sans Jon Voight & football...and I'd even take her without the whipped cream bikini.

OK, good point, but adding in Jon Voight, ridiculous football scenes, and the phrase "PUKE AND RALLY, WOOO!" adds to the experience.
