Great two part episode on my favorite Beatle, and one of my favorite musicians of all time. About 4 hours on George, his life, his friends and most of all his music & mysticism.
Great footage of early Beatles, then the second half is mostly about his life and quest for some type of religious meaning to it all. Did not know he was very friendly with all of the Monty Python Cast, Jackie Stewart and so many others. Also did not know that he was an avid gardener, who would sometimes work in his garden until midnight.. Scorcese as always nails this documentary.. My guitar gently weeps..

That sounds great. I love the Beatles, George Harrison and Martin Scorcese, I don't have HBO so I have to wait until the Blu-Ray comes out.

Its on here now. I've never been a fan of the Beatles (perhaps the timing of me becoming musically aware coincided with their over the top collapse). This show reinforces it. Ah, well, lots of original footage for fans, well interlaced with interviews.
