Default OT: Patriots Day

A favorite non-religious holiday. Sadly only observed in MA (as another hack holiday this Monday) and Maine. When I lived in Metro-West MA zipcode 1776, every April 19th the locals would march by the end of my street dressed for battle and firing their guns at 6AM. Great play-by-play and recap of the Patriots great victory here...

I miss Patriots Day up there in Mass......Ran the Boston Marathon one year and made it in 4 hrs.....decided that running that far was insane and never tried it again! Spent most of the other marathons partying with the girls at Wellesley College.......great memories......

Being stationed at Hanscom AFB, MA, I have been fortunate enough to work the Green Monster flag detail the past 4 years during the National Anthem. The game starts early and gets over around the time folks are crossing the finish line of the Boston Marathon. It's supposed to be 65 degrees, so I look forward to a great day.
