Default FIOS vs directv

Anyone who has had both which do you think is the better of the 2. Does FIOS ever have outages like directv can on occasions?

Opinions are welcomed.

Fios TV would be less likely in general to have outages. DTV can lose signal in heavy snow/rain, much better than it used to be FIOS is essentially like cable TV in terms os tech issues, it has fewer drops off each node than cable and terminates differently.

Outages aren't a big issue and of course you have the option of NFL Ticket with DTV a must if you live out fo market for the Pats. BTW you can get NESN for $12/month.

Fios Internet is very good, better than what you would get with typical cable/dsl. There seems to be differences in bandwidth depending on the market.

We just have to try to evaluate them the best we can."
