Whatever you do don't say anything about the hot chic in Transformers, Megan Fox, or poster Kontra-dikchead will get pissed.

If you accept the fact that you are going to a movie to see big huge robots from outer space that can change into trucks and jets and stuff, and they fight each other for control of some power cube, then you should have a good time. It was a long movie that dragged on at times, but overall worth the price of admission.

Gone With The Wind, this ain't. But in a summer which, IMHO, has been chock full of disappointments this was a reasonably pleasant surprise.

I'll be honest here: I see a lot of movies, and Transformers may very well be the best movie I've ever seen. It was hysterical when it wanted to be, a few parts were downright touching, the action scenes were absolutely ridiculous, and the leads were fantastic (Megan Fox = ). I had goose bumps for practically the entire movie, and actually had to keep myself from cheering out loud. That was an amazing movie experience.

Better than Jaws?
Better than The Godfather I or II?
Better than Saving Private Ryan?
Better than Gladiator?
Better than Taxi Driver?
Better than Caddyshack?
Better than Schindler's List?
Better than Platoon?
Better than Braveheart?

You get the drift no?

Granted, I really really enjoyed Transformers but lets be real here.

Better in the sense that I've never enjoyed a movie more, or even as much.

And there's no way on God's green Earth that Taxi Driver belongs on your list. What an overrated piece of poo movie that is.

I am not sure I would consider it the best movie ever but I think it's the best movie of this summer. I've seen most of this summer's big movies - and Bourne Ultimatum is still yet to come out - but TF beat them all hands down.
