Default An amazing man, a stupendous challenge

Please take a bit of time to check out my mate Julian Crabtree, who this summer is going to undertake the amazing 289 mile Arch to Arc Triathlon challenge for a couple of very worthy charities.

Puts my laborious efforts to do a 10k run in two weeks into an unflattering perspective.

Holy crap....I'd drown.

Good luck with the 10K. Everyone's mountain is different and definitely changes shape as you get older so don't hang your head. The effort is with yourself.

I don't know that a woman has ever completed this challenge. Or could? Discuss...

If you don't know by now that women can keep going longer, you have obviously led a sheltered life ...

Haven't you ever heard of Julian Dicks? Of course, it may have been one of those "Boy-named-Sue" kind of things, but for sheer thuggish violence under the pretext of sport, he took a lot of beating.

In hindsight, I hijacked the thread- sorry.

Er, wow is about all I can say. I shall see about sponsoring him. His bio is well worth a read, but misses out the bit where he kills Rhinos with one hand tied behind his back.

He's poncey as well. Everybody on this thread has noticed how I sign my PMs, haven't they?
