Default Danger! Don't Mess With Old Coots!

http://www.breitbart.com/news/2007/02/22/D8NF5DGG1.html

Muggers armed with gun & knives accost a bus full a geezers in Coster Ricer. A 70 yr old ex-military coot puts the gunman in a headlock, sending him to his well deserved dirt nap. Wisely, the touristo oriented govt officials decline to prosecute.

Life is good.

A person that is armed is a Citizen.

A person that is unarmed is a subject.

I prefer to be a free thinking Citizen.

To me the Key word is Free. which equates to freedom. Which we have less and less of every day as the government tells us we are not competent to run our own lives. That they need to do it for us. To many people are willing to abdicate to this thinking.

The thing about free thinking citizens is the realization that we accept the consequences of our actions. Understand that we can be at fault and having the common sense to make real and responsible decisions. Unlike those that want to perpetrate against their fellow man and then claim it is not their fault. That if someone else did not give them the temptation they would have never done it. Thusly trying to force their blame to someone or something else. That is a childs thinking, not an adult.

An example is if a person shoots another person. The gun did not point it self and pull it's own trigger a person did that and that person has to pay for it. Like Packman Jones and friends. Education and enforcement of existing laws are what are needed. Making me a subject because you are to scared to stand up and accept the punishment or to make someone else face their punishment is not reason to try and make me a subject.

If this is read it should initiate a heated discussion. That is it’s intent. The last point that I want to make and I hope is understood. The honest citizen will obey the adequate laws that we have. Criminals will not only disobey our current laws, but any laws they see fit. They want unarmed subjects not armed citizens. They make easier prey.

I am a citizen and I am armed. I have no malice, and I am compassionate to those that do not perpetrate against me.

Fantastic. They have a load more balls than I do. Someone should give them a medal.

I don't see why this is evolving into a 'You should carry a gun' thread. The guy with the gun is the dead one in this story.

If he was carring he would heve been able to defend himself with physical contact.
I also agree that this should be a political thread But I did not start it and I do not know how to move it.
