24: Season 6 - New England Patriots Forums

I'm pretty pissed that they ran the 24 premier up against the Patriots.

West Coasters won't have had to make a choice and should probably do us the favor of recapping the first 20 minutes or so as I wasn't about to turn away from the Pats.

Interesting "enemy" in this first episode - was that Dr. Basheer from Start Trek DSN as the "good" terrorist?

Also, can't wait for tomorrow night... wondering what was so horrifying to Jack and everyone referenced in the previews.

That was pretty awesome. I'm glad that it's a much lower key and realistic threat this season, that's exactly what they need. It feels very frightening - I absolutely love it thus far.

I think you are probably speaking too soon about the low key threat. But we'll see

Something big is going to happen tonite.

But the entire tone of the season - so far - feels much more real than Season's 4 or 5 to me.

Interestingly they advertised tonight that one can buy the first 4 hours on DVD tomorrow.

Once you are able to actually read this thread, I'm trying to figure out how they are going to explain the fact that they had this big hullabaloo about getting the "device" to arm the tactical nuclear bomb - and yet now we're to believe there are 4 more all ready to go?

Unless there's a similar plotline to arm all 4 other bombs I'm not seeing why they would start with the only bomb NOT ready to be blown up.

I thought they said that. I missed the first night because I was too hyped up over the Patriots win. Then I feel asleep before it started and did not wake up until 8:30. I do not have the equipement to tape anything.

I hope this is true. I would like to purchase the show before Monday so that I can catch up.

I can't imagine it would cost too much for one DVD - maybe you can even rent it.

Of course, save for a little bit of character development and some far too quick background on Jack, you're pretty caught up if you saw last night and the "previously on 24"

I think the main 24 website even has a minute by minute play by play

Too bad Curtis had to "leave" us last night. I always thought he had potential to take over Jack's role once they evenutally kill off Jack.

They are going to need to develop another #2 agent this season I guess.

How convenient thought that he takes his revenge just seconds after Jack discovers his motivation. Also I kindof found it funny that Buchanan is on the phone with Jack 20 seconds after he kills Curtis saying "I just heard what happened!"

Oh well - one has to suspend a little bit of reality in a show that has every storyline started, developed and finished in exactly 1440 minutes.

Definitely Bashir I recognized his voice immediately.
