Start here for the foundations and basics and history of the science.
http://www.phy6.org/stargaze/Q1.htm Then things get really freaky. There are experiments you can do to bend light, pretty good evidence that god both exists and does not exist simultaneously, the tidbit that all people are everywhere in space and time simultaneously, doing all possible options, that because of this tidbit, it is possible to immediately transport people or objects (think space craft) anywhere in the universe instantaneously, etc. etc. Beam me up, Scotty! |

If anti-matter is the inverse of matter, then that means we arn't everywhere that we can possibly be at one time, because that is our inverse...? That confuses me. Maybe I read in to much. :P

As for quantum mechanics I don't favor the classical Copenhagen Interpretation but have a soft spot for Hugh Everett's 'Many Universes' conjecture.

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty. This is known as "bad luck." RAH |
