Someone was nice enough to give me "reputation points" (is that what it is called) "cause I was hot"
![]() My question is, how do I figure out who did this so I can thank them and how does someone give someone else points? Thanks in advance? Last edited by Nikki; 09-08-2006 at 07:17 PM.. |

LOL... I've been here since early this year and just saw the reputation things. I do notice all the God threads have a single 1 point star thingie next to them... now I wonder if that's the result of your hotness or immediate self reputation countermeasures.

There's a little scale in the top right hand corner of each post, click through it to the reputation page. There you can give someone an up or down and send them a secret note, just like back in History class.
Vbulletin(the software this place runs on) can be set to have them digitally signed or not, its up to the Admin. |

I was just asking how this whole "reputation" thing works. I am on another v-bulletin for Labs, and there isn't a reputation scale. Sorry if my question annoyed you. Last edited by Nikki; 09-09-2006 at 01:19 PM.. |

![]() But seriously ladies and germs, whenever you post there is a little balance scale icon on the right side of the time and date bar above the post. You can "add to someone's reputation" if you click it. Etc. If you appreciate this guidance you may thank me by adding to mine! ![]() PS I don't think you can find out who the reputation is from - unless maybe bribing one of the mods would work ![]()

Hey Nikki,
You got me curious about this whole thing so I did a search and found this old thread which will explain everything about reputation, and how to keep yours clean. ![]() OT: A Forum Question Larry

I use it quite often but usually only when someone's abrupt or undisciplined with other veteran posters.
I'm pretty inoffensive on this board so I should remain colorless. |
