Default An apology offered

It has come to my attention that the individual mentined in the Old Country Buffet thread was the companion of someone who participates on this site. Sometimes we (I, I will take responsibility) forget these are real life people who become the object of someone elses humor. Whether on or not it was someone known by a poster here or not, being confronted on it has taught me an important lesson. I apologize for being so insensitive, and I ask for forgiveness from the everybody here, and obviosly, especially, the victims loved ones.
I ask that the thread be removed as to not further cause pain to the individuals.

From Jak14 in a PM:
IF YOU WANT ME TO ACCEPT YOUR APOLIGY THEN YOU MAKE A DONATION TO THE VALERIE L. ORANSKY FOUNDATION WHICH WILL BE SET UP AT THE HARBORONE BANK IN MASSACHUSETTES UNDER THAT NAME THURSDAY. SHE WAS SUFFERING SEVERELY FROM MS AND CONTINUED TO WORK 12-14 HOURS A DAY AND I WILL LET YOU KNOW THAT AFTER SHE WAS HIT OVER THE HEAD WITH A PIPE AND STABBED AND STRANGLED SHE STILL CONTINUED TO FIGHT WITH ALL THE DEFENSIVE WOUNDS THAT AHD SHOWED UP, OVER 20 OF THEM. YOU MAYBE ABLE TO SHOW WHAT KIND OF PERSON YOU ARE MY E-MAIL ADDRESS IS JAK14@COMCAST.NET

this sounds like a worthy cause not just for me but for anybody concerned with MS. Please give out the address where i might make the donation along with maybe a link to some information about this worthy cause.

I live in the area of the Old Country Buffet crime and i was shocked when i heard the news.

IMO that kid should be put to death for what he did.

He's no kid, he's 28.

Just be grateful that you have a an acute mind, a sense of humor and the ability to grasp right and wrong. It doesn't appear that Mr. Jones could.......killing someone (nevermind a woman with MS) over being reprimanded for washing pans in a dishwasher.

Evil comes in various forms and how we deal with it measures us, not it.

It's all very sad.........
