Default STEAMERS .... or .... CORN ON THE COB???

How many times have you ever been invited to an outdoor steak-fry?
How many times do you notice you get steamers OR corn on the cob?
WHY CAN'T I HAVE BOTH???
THE BEST STEAK FRIES HAVE BOTH AND A HUGE SALAD MIXED IN A HUGE-AZZ BOWL.

If there are no steamers don't invite me...that's like ice cream with no toppings.

I don't know anything about outdoor steak-frys, but seeing that nice bowl of steamers made me longing for the days I used to live in Mass. Having been living on the West Coast for more than 30 years I really miss steamers!

My wife and I get Filet Mignons and other stuff from WWW.OmahaSteaks.com ... overpriced but well, well worth it.

Companies like http://www.thefreshlobstercompany.com/
are alot of fun to order from for special occaisons...real, real good and fresh.

God, I miss New England food.

Down here, they'd attempt to stick those puppies in a fryolator or BBQ them. No wonder why the South is so fat. . .

I've come across a few websites for seafood distributors from Maine that can ship steamers and the like to anywhere in the country. I've considered making an order for a special occasion, but haven't yet. Kinda pricey, but damn well worth it!

Many years ago there used to be a really good seafood distributor here in the town I currently live in. The owner could special order steamers at a fairly reasonable price. My family used to make an order every now and then...........sometimes my father would make a big order for a clambake for charitable events. Unfortunately they went out of business..........too bad because they used to have the best, freshest seafood in the area.
