You guys are really underestimating Gamera here. He has the power to absorb and manipulate fire. I'm afraid the fight wouldn't even be as close as I had originally thought. Gamera KOs Godzilla in the first round as the children rejoice. GAMERA!! GAMERA!! GAMERA!!

See its tough for me because deep down in their cold blooded hearts, neither were really the "monsters" they appeared to be... they were actually nice guys when you got to know them

And when you're a few hundred feet tall who can blame you for mashing a few houses and getting tangled in powerlines

Now someone like the Smog Monster - no doubt he's bad... and of course there's Monster X - the three headed monster... bad assed and bad

Rodan doesn't have the warm side of Godzilla but he's pretty cool too

Mothra really doesn't do it for me... ok so he's a 100 foot moth... big deal... "run people of Japan - and hide your cashmere sweaters!!!!"

I went with Godzilla. While Gamera may have the bells and whistles, Godzilla certainly has more "big game experience". Gamera has a lot of heart, buit Godzilla has taken on all comers time and time again and come out on top.
You wanna be the champ, you gotta beat the champ. and godzilla's the champ.

LOL, Mothra scares no one!

As for Gamera, don't forget, as the defender of the Universe he is immortal!
