The end of Gran Torino when Clint Eastwood's character gets gunned down. Won't go into too much detail for people who haven't seen the movie. I get choked up every time.

6. "A Time to Kill", the part when Brigance (McConaughey's character) delivers the speech to the jury and when the "not guilty" verdict comes in usually get me.

If you're going to watch The Perfect Storm for the first time tonight, stop reading now.

At the end, when they're going down, and the guy with the beard (John C. Reilly) says "This is gonna be hard on my little boy." That kills me because I know if I was sinking (or whatever), I'd only be thinking about how much it's going to hurt my kids. Since having kids, my fear of death revolves only around not wanting to upset them. I guess that's common.

The scene where they shot Bambi's mummy.

If you tell me that there's anything sadder than that you're lying ...

There's a scene in Rescue Me when Denis Leary and his wife walk into the room in the Emergency Ward where their dead child is on a gurney. I watched it once and it was as realistic as I've ever seen....and unfortunately....well let's just say I know what realistic is.....

Good call. I have never cried harder at a movie/TV show then I did during that scene. I remember it vividly. We had just moved to HK and I hid myself in the bathroom to ball my eyes out so my wife wouldn't realize what a homosapien I am.
