Default Sex & The City 2

My wife has requested to be taken to see this movie, so since I'm off tomorrow, I'm probably going to take her to a matinee tomorrow while the kids are in school. Anyone else take their wife to see this that can tell me if it's going to be a painful 2 1/2 hours?

Poor Ian. I really do feel for you.

I heard the first one was pretty painful, so I think it's time for the valium.

“On a day when they could have had impact players David Terrell or Koren Robinson..they took Georgia defensive tackle Richard Seymour, who had 1 sacks last season in the pass-happy SEC and is too tall to play tackle at 6-6 and too slow to play defensive end. This genius move was followed by trading out of a spot where they could have gotten the last decent receiver in Robert Ferguson and settled for tackle Matt Light, who will not help any time soon.”

I've been dragged to both of them. Prepare to see an awful P.O.S.

You know, it wouldn't be so bad if there was actually some good looking women in this that weren't older than dirt. But Sarah Jessica Parker looks like she's wearing a Halloween mask, Kim Cattrall is the crypt keeper, the red head doesn't do anything for me, and the dark haired one isn't anything special.

I really want to know: how did you get roped into seeing that movie? Ian has an excuse, he's married. I believe we owe it to ourselves (and each other) as men to resist this kind of thing.

It got a 14-percent approval rating among critics nationwide (rottentomatoes.com).

The first one I went to with my ex. This one I got dragged to with my current girlfriend. I should have just done the smart thing and broke up with both of them the week before the movie.

Could be worse. I get the better end of the deal since she puts up with me and the ton of time I spend on this site - so 2 1/2 hours of that isn't that bad

The first one was tolerable, but I've heard the reviews for this one haven't been good at all - so I was just wondering what to expect. Sounds like I'll just have to get through it
