Vince Vaughn was in Rudy? - New England Patriots Forums

Just sitting here watching Rudy, and my wife just pointed out that Vince Vaughn is in it. I've seen this movie 100 times and never noticed it before.

It's a great movie, and I figured I'd throw it out there as a "did you know?", as I'm guessing there are a few people out there that didn't realize it.

Yep, played the quarterback. I did't know it until I saw the end of it for the first time when he goes up and tells Rudy, "that one was for you" after throwing the TD.

My wife pointed it out on the scene where he says, "this *****hole thinks it's the Super Bowl" when he basically says Rudy's going too hard on him in practice. It's amazing how young he was - crazy stuff.

Still one of my favorite football movies. Although "The Program" is my all-time favorite

Contrast that role with his next big role three years later in Swingers...looks like a completely different guy but its the same person
