I consider Olive Garden to have the best food of any national chain. For a unique New England restaurant, Longfellow's Wayside Inn in Sudbury, MA (the oldest continuously operated inn in the country, with a couple cool historic rooms you can look in on your way in or out of dinner. Also traditional New England fare including a very good beer and "apple jack" hard drink.)

8 pages and no mention of Regina's???

Thats crazy.

My favorite Boston spots were Reginas, The Fours, Italian Cafe.

I dont know if it is there anymore, but in downtown there was this little hole in the wall soup/salad place. Called temptations maybe? Best chilli in the world. I miss it so much.
