Yeah she's funny off the cough too. Some are funny with other people's lines but, she's a real quick wit. She did some real funny stuff for Crank Yankers a few years back.

I hate Wanda Sykes. The only time I've ever found her tolerable was on Curb Your Enthusiasm. But that was because of how hilariously Larry played off her.

I'm not sure I break it down to the comedian level - its usually teams a troupes that make me laugh hardest

A lot of the old HBO comedies even before "Curb" were great "Mr. Show with Bob and Dave", "Larry Sanders" (both with Chloe from "24" in her great comedic roles) - and movies by Christopher Guest with his improv ensemble (Spinal Tap, Best in Show, A Mighty Wind) are all good examples of the subtle, smart comedy I go for.

Reno 911 and Arrested Development are two other shows that hit on the smart and funny level

As much as I like Steve Carrell and the American "The Office" - the Brits did it much better with their "Boss" Ricky Gervais

Enjoy this short clip of him demonstrating for his employees how cool and hip their boss is, with his "dance moves" at the office Halloween party

F.B.N. - Not sure if you know this or not, but Wanda Sykes is on Julia Louis-Dreyfus' new show "The adventures of the old Christine". I think that's what it's called.

Adele Givens is always going to be my favorite female comic.

Adele was on Def Comedy Jam alot back in the day. If you remember the Queens of Comedy, she was in there as well, including Mo'Nique, Sommore, and Ms Laura Hayes. They have a dvd out as well, and that came out in 2000.

I love Dave Attell (does the "Insomniac" show on Comedy Central). I saw him live once and my stomach hurt from laughing so hard.

I'm not sure anyone's made me laugh harder than Richard Pryor.
