Good thread. Watched "Requiem for a Dream" yesterday for the first time. Good, if not messed up, movie. Last night I watched one of my favorite action movies "The Way of the Gun" again. On of my top five favorite gunfights in the history of cinema. For anybody that cares, the gunfight in "Heat" (which may be my favorite movie of all time) as they are coming out of the bank is my all time favorite.

As for today, me and the woman are planning on seeing "Shutter Island". I've heard nothing but good things about this one...

Shutter Island looks good. So does the Crazies.

It was good. Very good. But I love Scorscese movies. The Crazies is probably going to be a crap movie, but I'm a sucker for zombie movies and will probably take a chance on it at some point (on DVD though).

Agreed. I actually found it kind of tedious. Clint Eastwood did have some funny lines in that movie, though. "What are you fish heads looking at?"

Last movie I saw in a theater was Wall-E(sneak preview), last one I paid to see was Kung Fu Panda.

Last one I saw outright was a rental, "Madea Goes to Jail".

The last film I watched in full was The Insider. So good...

I watched the funny parts of The Meaning of Life the other night.

Kill Bill Volumes 1 & 2. IMO, the best movies that Tarantino has done in his career. Gotta say I'm partial to the second one though both are very good. The fight scene at the end of the first one is probably one of the best fight scenes I have seen on film.
