The good news is I was able to get the Samuel Adams Winter Classics 12-pack again this year.
I love the Old Fezziwig Ale and the Holiday Porter, and you can only get them in the Winter 12-pack. Last year, I don't know if it was the economy or what, but I couldn't find the 12-pack anywhere in northern Wisconsin. The bad news is those clowns still insist on putting two bottles of that God-awful Cranberry Lambic in there. I didn't even put them in the fridge, I poured both right down the drain. ![]()

I love Saranac's Black and Tan but, no one around here carries it. I can only get it in the adirondack trail mix. ![]() Actually they're all pretty good except the IPA. I'm tempted to throw the 2 bottles of that down the drain. They're always the last ones I drink.

I love Sam....
So you must like a good amount of HOPS I got a perfect brew for you..... this beer that I drink often reminds me of Sam, but with more of a punch and good hops. Both Sam and UBU Ale are from a micro-brewery. All I am saying is.... You like Sam and I like Sam...... If you have not tried Ubu Ale from Lake Placid NY (you really should) each Ubu bottle is 7% alcohol btw and it is an enjoyable drink ![]() -give it a try sometime Last edited by HarkDawg; 12-06-2009 at 11:54 AM.. |

It is High in alchy AND NOT bad tasting. However IPA is no UBU ![]() Last edited by HarkDawg; 12-06-2009 at 11:57 AM.. |

I'll look for UBU the next time I'm in a good beer store then.
